The Book of Mormon, one of the most successful shows in Broadway history, will now be available in San Francisco! and showing at Orpheum Theatre on Thursday 15th January 2026!
This tale is of the coming-of-age story of an odd pair of two Mormon missionaries, Kevin Price and Arnold Cunningham. The Book of Mormon satirizes religion and religious storytelling, and presents it in a visionary and comedic manner. The two missionaries are tasked with a mission to preach to the residents of a local village in Uganda, who turn out to be indifferent to what they aim to preach.
The Book of Mormon was a brainchild back in 2003 by creators Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and Robert Lopez, continuing on to its premiere in 2011. Since then, the musical comedy has become one of the most commercially successful Broadway musicals in history, with repeatedly sold-out shows for over a decade.

What happens when two evangelists try ringing a doorbell in a Ugandan village only to find that doors in Africa don't have bells and that the people have no time for divine powers because they are captive in a world of famine, HIV/AIDS, child-molestation and oppression?
The Book of Mormon sent Broadway off its rocker, and had the West End in a complete tizz, and it’s easy to see why. The creators of the hit series South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and Avenue Q’s Robert Lopez are the creative geniuses behind the smash-hit musical.
