Because on Sunday November 16th - we’re bringing the house down right here with the Sigur Ros crew! They are bringing their 2025 North American Orchestral Tour to the states this summer for an absolutely immersive and truly once in a lifetime experience. You’re gonna want to do your research on the band before - and then, get your tickets ASAP before it’s too late! The Orpheum Theatre is a staple of life here in San Francisco - and a longstanding piece of California music history and the scene’s culture. Sigur Ros’ music feels like crawling to the warmest memories in your childhood dreams, mixed with moments of nostalgia that are incomprehensible yet pure. Formed in the mid 90s in Reykjavik, the band has ethereal soundscapes, hauntingly ambient vocals, and psychedelic rock inspired melodies that feel so foreign yet familiar. Praised by Radiohead, David Bowie, and other legends for the classics in their catalogue - the band caught on like wildfire after their 1999 album release A Good Beginning. Songs on the album created a hype and ethos around the crew that has seldom been followed up by those after the crew’s debut - but that has endlessly inspired millions around the world. They currently sport over 2 million monthly listeners across all streaming platforms. And quite frankly folks - we’re just excited to see what they bring to the stage for these two nights.And we’re excited to see you right here, too!
