Fanny Brice is the biggest star and the nicest people person on the Planet. Fanny Brice's narrative begins with her young days in New York's Lower East Side, where the star-struck young girl fluffs her way through burlesque and vaudeville, dreaming of making it big despite being put down by her friends and family, who tell her she isn't pretty enough for the stage. It is based on the happenings in the life of the Ziegfeld Follies star just before, during, and after World War I. Additionally, it portrays the tale of her love interest with Nick Arnstein, a charming man about town whose appeal Fanny finds irresistible, and eventually, their subsequent failed marriage.
